Working Principle: Sponge is placed in a sealed chamber, and a combustible gas mixture is added. Ignition then generates a high-temperature, high-pressure airflow that travels through the sponge at supersonic speeds. This melts the closed-cell membrane within the sponge, causing it to adhere to the sponge's network structure, thickening the network and eliminating the closed-cell membrane, resulting in a filter-like sponge.
